Information about the festival
The Turkish Film Days Munich are celebrating their 35th anniversary this year. This year’s focus is on films about strong women who assert themselves despite all adversity.
On 10 and 21 April, the Gasteig HP8 will present singular arthouse film with features, documentaries and shorts by dedicated Turkish filmmakers.
Documentaries include stories about a missing gravestone, two synchronised swimmers, a Kurdish translator, a Turkish director and two football clubs, as well as a programme of short films that’s full of surprises.
