The Gasteig Cultural Foundation
The Gasteig Cultural Foundation was established in 2006 as a non-profit foundation in the trusteeship of Gasteig München GmbH. The foundation’s aim is to continually strengthen and maintain the Gasteig as a forum for events of a select aesthetic and conceptual quality.
By supporting the Gasteig Cultural Foundation, private individuals and companies alike can make a valuable direct contribution to the Gasteig – to a place that brings people together and is a platform for diverse, high-quality arts projects that could not be realised without funding.
The funding focuses on projects and programmes that serve the Gasteig’s vision: “Culture and education for all”.
Above all, the foundation supports projects and measures that comply with the idea of the Gasteig as a democratic institution, enable low-threshold access and bring together people from different walks of life.
