The following methodology was used for the review: Internal test and assessment by external service provider

The accessibility requirements are laid out in Paras. 3(1) to (4) of the German Accessible Information Technology Ordinance (BITV 2.0), which was enacted on the basis of Para. 12d of the German Equality for Persons with Disabilities Act (BGG).

The accessibility of the Gasteig website at www.gasteig.de is based on internal testing and the assessment of a selection of pages of the website by the service provider Mindscreen based on BITV 2.0 and the Bavarian E-Government Ordinance (BayEGovV), taking into account the requirements of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2.

The Gasteig website at www.gasteig.de is partially consistent with the BayEGovV. It largely fulfils the requirements of BITV 2.0 as well as the level AA criteria of WCAG 2.2. The contents that do not meet accessibility requirements are listed below. Full implementation is being worked on.

The content below is not compliant with accessibility requirements due to disproportionate burden under Article 5 of Directive (EU) 2016/2102:

• PDF files are not fully available in an accessibility-compliant format.
