Nancy: On Draggo drag! munich
The candid and comical tale of a mad tranny from the north of England; how a little boy who secretly wore their sister's dresses, moved to Berlin, became a Drag King, grew a pair of tits and discovered gender euphoria. "Nancy: On Drag" is an invite into the stories and the structures through which Nancy has made sense of themself and the world. (in English)

First written in 2022 for go drag! Berlin, and developed through a run at the Edinburgh Fringe.
The shapeshifter of Berlin, the artist formerly known as Camp Dad, known formally as Shirley Knott. Nancy’s multiple drag personalities make-up a pantheon of alternative egos. For five years, Nancy has performed within Berlin’s drag, cabaret, theatre and club spaces. Through this performance/lecture/story/manifesto they offer a taste of Berlin’s queer scene, and a peek into their impression about “what is drag?”
Nancy Nutter grew up in an old industrial town in East Lancashire, after studying Philosophy, Politics, and Aesthetics they moved to Berlin and fell into the alternative cabaret and queer party scene. Since they have made their life as an artist, performing in drag, and creating queer community spaces which bring to the fore voices which are not heard often enough.
In 2019 Nancy started Venus Boys, and in 2022 was co-artistic director of go drag! The future is non binary!
