Hall XOne hall, many occasions
Description & impressions
Hall X is a separate modular building on the Gasteig HP8 site. It is located right next to Hall E and can accommodate up to 254 visitors. If seating is laid out in rows, it can hold 340 people, including three wheelchair spaces. Large windows mean that the hall gets plenty of natural light – if desired – making it feel airy and welcoming. This is a versatile auditorium where audiences can enjoy readings, workshops, lectures, concerts, film screenings, dance, theatre performances and much more. The auditorium can also accommodate a bar.
Hall X has level access and its own foyer area (40 m²) with a bar and toilets. The event space covers 193 m², excluding the stage, and has all the necessary ancillary rooms and delivery access. A removable partition wall allows the hall to be extended into the foyer area.
The height of the hall is around 3.70 metres, measured from audience level to the technical rig. The standard stage size is 42 m². The stage itself consists of platforms with detachable legs – each platform with a height of 60 cm. This modular construction means the stage can be expanded flexibly. Hall X has blackout facilities, modern technology and a permanently installed audio system (a Meyer Sound PA system).
