The list of guests at this year’s Literature Day reflect the festival’s focus on interpersonal relationships. As the day’s theme, “Toxic Relationships”, implies, their dynamics can also apply to international relations.

Marija Ratkovic is a Serbian author and activist who recently published her first novel, Ispod Majice: The Brutality of a Modern Woman. Shpëtim Selmani is an award-winning stage actor and author from Kosovo. For his most recently published work, Libërthi i dashurisë (The Booklet of Love), he received the 2020 European Union Prize for Literature. Adrian Kasnitz writes poetry, prose and essays and has a passion for photography and history. His poems have appeared in numerous literary journals and anthologies, including Der Große Conrady. Since 2000, he has been running a publishing house, the Parasitenpresse, which has to date published around 100 titles, mainly poetry.
