About Daniel Barenboim

Regarded a child prodigy during his nascent career as a pianist, Barenboim continues to thrill audiences to this day and can look back on a life’s work that few others in the world of music can match. He works tirelessly at developing musical language through his compositions and rediscovering long-forgotten repertoires. His award-winning audio and video recordings are as plentiful as his honours and awards. And yet, he has retained his humility before music and his curiosity for musical discoveries throughout a career spanning 60 years to date.
