For 35 years, the rock stars of the “bonsai guitar” have enjoyed worldwide success, whether at the Queen’s private birthday party at Windsor Castle or at sell-out shows at London’s Royal Albert Hall, New York’s Carnegie Hall or the Sydney Opera House. Collaborations have have included Robbie Williams, Cat Stevens and Madness!

Their declared mission: to redress the seriousness of life. No matter what. They achieve this with charm, dry British wit, musical skill, arrangements that hold plenty of surprises, and the sheer joy of performing and entertaining their audience.

A hilarious trip through all manner of genres, from pop, rock, punk and rock’n’roll to folk, jazz, oldies and classical pieces.

The triumph of the “miniature guitar” is celebrated almost frenetically – you can even see the occasional uke in the audience. You may be able to buy it with loose change, but in the hands of the Ukulele Orchestra it’s a serious instrument.
