The Academy Award winning soundtrack by film music legend Hans Zimmer has been shaping the globally successful animated film The Lion King for 27 years now: African rhythms and sounds paired with epic melodies. Sir Elton John’s poignant hits, such as Hakuna Matata, Circle of Life and Can You Feel the Love Tonight are timeless. Composed for eternity, they draw the audience into the world of Simba, Nala and friends.

Under the baton of London conductor Stephen Ellery, the Cinema Festival Symphonics orchestra with soloists and choir have already thrilled audiences with performances of the music of Game of Thrones, Star Wars and Harry Potter. The ensemble is known for its emotive, authentic, powerful sound that give the audience the sense of being right in the action.

This experience is animated by video clips that take you straight to the African savannah. Majestic lions, primal elephants, elegant leopards and, of course, Pumba the warthog and Timon the meerkat evoke the eternal circle of life.
