“Vintage” is this year’s motto in the rehearsal hall and the outdoor space next to it. The Boogie Bären and the Swing & the City dance school will be showing you various swing dances that you can later try out at the festival’s dance parties. There will be live music from the Swing Lyons on the outdoor stage.

The Boogie-Bären are a dance club dedicated to the swing dances of the 1920s to 1950s, which have their origins in African-American culture. The club’s volunteers teach boogie-woogie (also as a competitive sport), lindy hop, balboa, blues, collegiate shag and solo jazz.
