A passionate environmentalist, Hélène Grimaud is known as the “advocate of wolves” and is as passionate a musician as she is a human rights activist – a woman, in short, of many faces. With works by Brahms, Schumann and Beethoven.

She also explores references to nature in music, especially in the Romantic repertoire. Playing the piano playing with almost mystical devotion, the profound artist’s sensitive interpretations and poetic expression exude a special fascination that infects listeners throughout the world.

Hélène Grimaud’s career has seen her perform with leading international orchestras and renowned conductors. But playing solo in the grand piano, she conjures up a very special atmosphere. At the beginning of May, the Munich audience can experience for themselves the magical atmosphere in the concert hall during such a piano recital when the pianist interprets works by Schumann, Brahms and Beethoven.

“Listening to the music is listening to nature”
