Watching television in the evening after a day’s work is a distant dream for the inhabitants of the village of Tora on the border to Myanmar. Having lived without electricity for decades, the Indian government has left the Naga community to develop their own infrastructure. Through agriculture and weaving, the people have nonetheless managed to provide for themselves and have installed solar panels to provide them with vital electricity.
