The 10th anniversary of the Kurt Maas Jazz Award has Brazil as its theme. The line-up comprises Jazz Award 2023 winners Elias Prinz (guitar), Minchan Kim (drums) and Tom Förster (saxophone) as well as two scholarship holders from Brazil: André Kusmitsch (piano) and Feldeman de Oliveira Lacerda (trombone). The special guest is Brazilian superstar Ivan Lins, with Beate Sampson from BR presenting.
