In the new European Cultural Partners network, the Gasteig represents Germany’s cultural centres

22 December 2022 – The international network of Europe’s major cultural centres aims at experience sharing, cross-border cultural projects and in-depth cooperation. Fourteen institutions have joined forces in the European Cultural Partners project. The participants comprise cultural institutions from Helsinki (Finland), Aalborg (Sweden), Kristiansand (Norway), Liepāja (Latvia), Rome (Italy), Paris (France), Brussels (Belgium), Bilbao (Spain), Lisbon (Portugal) and Budapest (Hungary) as well as Munich’s Gasteig. Together, the Cultural Partners of Europe aim to internationally represent the interests of the arts and to cooperate within the framework of EU projects.

“Topics such as digitalisation, inclusion and sustainability also play a key role in culture. That’s another reason for working much more closely with international partners across borders. ”

Gasteig managing director Max Wagner
