The fantasy novel series on which the cult TV series Game of Thrones is based already has music in its title: A Song of Ice and Fire. And composed like a symphony, the novels are indeed multi-layered, a fact reflected in Ramin Djawadi’s original film score. It contains everything that has led to the worldwide success of the television series Game of Thrones: drama, passion, love, enmity, surprising plot twists and at times almost unbearable tension. But the gripping music also describes the vastness of the landscape, the chilling cold, the churning of mud on a battlefield, the shimmering heat and, of course, the ecstatic faltering of the main characters – be it out of untamed love or blind hatred. Lies and disgrace, shame and triumph, farewell and innocence are congenially translated into music.

Since 2017, this large-scale film music production has been performed to great acclaim in concert halls and arenas throughout the German-speaking world. Now, for the first time, the music of the cult series will be performed live together with that of its successful prequel, House of the Dragon. Complementing the highlights from Game of Thrones, such as the world-famous The Rains of Castamerethe, the music from House of the Dragon includes such compositions as The Dance of Dragons and Fire and Blood. Experience the struggle between good and evil, feelings between love and hate, and the main characters’ dark obsessions.

Under the musical direction of Franz Bader, the Czech Symphony Orchestra’s 50 musicians, the large choir and the soloist interpret the almost endless variations of the soundtracks. A spectacular light show provides the visual background. Visitors are immersed in the fantastic world of Westeros and Essos and experience a live musical journey through the key scenes of Game of Thrones and House of the Dragon.
