Pioneers of electronic music on a major tour through Germany!
Their current album, Raum, which Thorsten Quaeschning, Hoshiko Yamane and Paul Frick recorded since the death of the group’s founder Edgar Froese in early 2022, was dubbed “the best Tangerine Dream record in decades” by Resident Advisor and immediately entered the UK Dance Album Charts at number 1. Tangerine Dream’s influence on the development of electronic music is enormous, with a huge catalogue of albums, live performances and soundtracks. In 2013, the group provided the music for Rockstar’s video game Grand Theft Auto V, the world’s biggest, most successful computer game.
Having returned to the classic sequencer sound, Tangerine Dream present tracks from their current album Raum as well as Los Santos City Map from Grand Theft Auto V and the classics Phaedra, Love On A Real Train and White Eagle, a.k.a. The Girl on the Stairs. Following their classic tracks, each live performance ends with the “session” – a real-time composition of 30 to 45 minutes.
