For his debut with the Munich Philharmonic, French conductor Raphaël Pichon chooses two unfinished masterpieces: Schubert’s Symphony in B minor and Mozart’s Great Mass in C minor. He juxtaposes them with an interesting combination of a cappella choral works and purely instrumental music, creating an exciting concert dramaturgy with attacca transitions between the works.
