Richard Curtis’s classic 2003 movie conjures up a wonderfully romantic mood in the festive season. No wonder, as the film interweaves ten stories all about the most wondrous of all emotions. They tell of people falling in love, of heartbreak, of amorous adventures and of finding the partner for life. The film’s star-studded cast includes Hugh Grant, Liam Neeson, Colin Firth, Emma Thompson, Rowan Atkinson, Alan Rickman, Claudia Schiffer, Heike Makatsch and Keira Knightley. Music also plays a major role, with many famous songs such as Christmas Is All Around, All You Need Is Love and Jump (For My Love). The wonderful romantic score was written by the multi-award-winning film composer Craig Armstrong.
