You’ll want to leap up at the first note – and you can! On 16 December, the Jazzrausch Bigband and the Munich Symphony Orchestra will celebrate Christmas together for the first time and all the lights on the wreath will be lit straight away.

With arrangements by Leonhard Kuhn that are as humorous as they are ambitious, the orchestra and the big band merge seamlessly with each other as if they had always belonged together. And yet, there is always the space for both of them to shine in their own right: the orchestra with its rich and varied sound, the big band with dynamic groove. Expect an evening of captivating music that will put a smile on the faces of jazz and classical fans alike.

This event is supported by the Department of Arts and Culture of the City of Munich.
