As of May, Albert the electric cargo bike can be rented free of charge at the Gasteig HP8. Provided by the association Freie Lastenradl e.V., it is operated together with the Munich Public Library. Just book an appointment online and come to the service point of the public library on the second floor of Hall E. There, you can also get accessories for the bike, such as a second battery.
The bike has space for two children – on the child seat at the back and on the bench in the wooden cargo box in front of the rider. The bench can be folded up to use the box to transport cargo. The cargo bike has already been in use for two years, transporting plenty of people and objects throughout Sendling. Why not give it a try!
