Four-time Grammy winner Terri Lyne Carrington joins the faculty of the University of Music and Theatre Munich
The world-renowned jazz drummer, composer, producer and educator Terri Lyne Carrington is the new Top Professor at the Munich University of Music and Theatre (HMTM), as the Bavarian Ministry of Science and the Arts recently announced. Thanks to the Top Professorship Programme (SPP), part of the Hightech Agenda Bayern initiative, Terri Lyne Carrington will be teaching at HMTM’s Jazz Institute until the end of 2028. At the same time, various interdisciplinary projects will benefit the entire university.
