Open access to culture and the arts

The Gasteig HP8 is now officially certified as an accessible institution. Our arts centre has been tested according to the federal criteria of the Accessible Germany scheme. Experts have audited the site to assess whether the paths are wide enough for disabled access, whether lifts are available and whether information provided is easy to understand. A further criterion is whether people with disabilities receive quick support from staff. The verdict: The Gasteig HP8 already fulfils the requirements for an inclusive visitor experience in many areas. All the investigated points are listed in detail on the Accessible Germany website.
