Do you have a lucky charm?

Yes, I have. My phone book and the “favourites” stored in it. Whenever I’m not feeling well, I call one of these numbers. These are the most important people in my life who would walk through fire for me. The same applies to me as far as they are concerned. That’s all the lucky charms I need.

Do you rather tend to be nervous or more of a show-off on stage?

Haha, definitely a show-off. The stage is my place of safety. There’s hardly another place where I feel better, nowhere I feel safer than on stage. Making music for people – whether for one or thousands – is my favourite thing.

Major or minor?

Minor that turns to major at the end.

There’s a snack machine backstage in the Isarphilharmonie. What do you chooose?

Still water

What do you do after the final applause, after leaving the stage?

I go out with friends or to bed. It depends a lot on whether I’m travelling alone or not.
