Yes, that’s right: We’re putting on 40 hours of non-stop entertainment for Gasteig fans of all ages! One hour for each year, like the candles on a birthday cake. This highlight of our anniversary season begins on Friday at 10 AM and ends on Sunday at 2 AM. We’re celebrating art and culture, and all of Munich can join in! Admission is free.
Dance, film, classical music, pop, literature, participative events and parties: the Gasteig offers cultural events for everyone all year round. To mark our 40th anniversary, we’re packing a cross-section of our year’s programme into 40 hours. There’ll be film, concerts, silent disco, games and much more. And you can dip in and out at leisure, picking and choosing whatever tickles your fancy and piques your interest.
We’ll have plenty of surprises and fantastic guest performers. Also on board are many of our partners from throughout Munich and the gasteigXchange cultural outreach programme.
