Information about the festival
Munich’s 36th Turkish Film Festival is all about FILMS from and about Turkey and includes both a historical retrospective and the very latest productions in collaboration with artists from a wide range of ethnic backgrounds.
Taking place on 5 and 6 April, the festival programme includes feature films, documentaries and shorts as well as panel discussions and readings.
The screenings are mainly of works by directors from Turkey, but productions by young Turkish filmmakers living and working in Germany as well as German filmmakers covering topics related to Turkey will also be shown.
