The Temptations and Four Tops have spent the last 60 years or so creating music for magic moments. Songs like “My Girl”, “Papa Was A Rolling Stone” and “Baby I need your Loving” are timeless classics that are now recognised as the forerunners of soul.
Songs like “Reach Out I’ll Be There”, “I Can’t Help Myself” and “Treat Her Like A Lady” became global hits and appeared on countless number one albums. And then there are the countless Grammys and their induction into the Rock’n’Roll Hall of Fame – the success story for the two bands just goes on and on.
It’s been 15 years since these legends played their last joint concerts in Germany. At last, the originals from Detroit are returning in October 2022 with their “Magic Motown Moments Live” tour. Otis Williams and Abdul “Duke” Fakir, the masterminds behind the bands, will be backed by a full-scale big band setup as they play more than 50 top-ten hits on German stages!
