When aliens land in their suburban housing estate, they change the lives of everyone they meet. Maret and Sirje sense their chance when the aliens look for volunteers for their research on Homo Sapiens. Mariliis flees a violent relationship and finds refuge with Uma, until a monstrous spider puts their nascent love to the test. Jüri falls in love with a mysterious neighbour and tries to save his mother Ilmi from a costly deal with an Austrian vacuum cleaner sales rep.
