Released in 1980, George Lucas’ second film in the Star Wars saga is considered by many to be the best ever.
Set to the impressive film score, our familiar heroes and villains appear on a large screen in an epic battle between the light and dark side of the Force. The rebels have just suffered a bitter defeat: After their secret base was located and destroyed by the Imperial Starfleet, the now separated friends must continue the battle each on their own. Darth Vader uses the opportunity to lure Luke into a trap and challenge him to one of the most legendary duels in film history.
