PlainheadIsarflux 2025

Cranking up the volume on stage, Plainhead serves up infectious fun with undertones of doom and gloom. Somehow like a synthesis of Alex G and bands like Duster and the early Animal Collective, they clearly count a new generation of shoegaze bands among their influences.

“Our aim is to be the loudest band in town!” Well, that’s not (entirely) true. “Mum! The music isn’t even all that loud!” But they will definitely resonate with your inner windows and rattle them until they break. Next to their teenage dream of becoming the Sunn O))) of Bavaria, writing good songs will always be the main objective in the bedroom. Their debut album, I Split My Organ In Twos, is a collage of early childhood memories and dreams in which animals can talk and parents would never grow old.
