The Waterhouse String Trio, accompanied by singer Adelheid Maria Thanner-Kiesewetter and pianist Masha Dimitrieva, will present a varied programme of works by Kiesewetter, including his widely acclaimed, minimalist Piano Quartet, Op 1.
Also on the programme will be works by his lifelong friend, the composer Wilhelm Killmayer and the composer and cellist Graham Waterhouse, whom he met towards the end of his life. The concert concludes with Tange Pathetique, a piece that achieved global fame thanks to Gideon Kremer, who performed it countless times.
