The festival is centred on innovative artists who are extrapolating Carl Orff’s visionary spirit to the present day. The Techno Piano Trio LBT combines virtuoso piano playing with pulsating electronic beats, creating a fascinating link between concert hall and club culture.
Enkhjargal Dandarvaanchig is a master of Mongolian world music. With his impressive overtone singing and the morin khuur, or horsehead fiddle, he introduces us to the fascinating sounds of Central Asia, blending centuries-old musical traditions with a modern, international stage presence.
The festival line-up is completed by the choir, piano duo, percussion ensemble and string quintet of the Bayerische Philharmonie. Together, they create an extraordinary concert experience, brimming with rhythmic energy, tonal diversity and emotional intensity – all inspired by Carl Orff’s musical prowess and universality.
