For his concert with the Munich Symphony Orchestra, violinist Guido Sant’Anna shares the stage with the equally successful young South Korean cellist Jaemin Han. The audience can look forward to intimate dialogues between violin, cello and orchestra with Brahms’ Double Concerto before the afternoon concludes with Dvořák’s Symphony No 8.

Born in São Paulo, Brazil, in 2005, Guido Sant’Anna gained international recognition when he became the first South American to win Vienna’s prestigious Fritz Kreisler International Competition in 2022. In 2018, he was the first Brazilian violinist to be invited to the Yehudi Menuhin International Competition in Geneva, where he received both the Audience Award and the Chamber Music Award. Since then, the 20-year-old has performed in major concert halls and at renowned festivals and was included in Forbes Brazil’s “30 Under 30” list.

Winning the Grand Prix of the George Enescu International Competition in 2021, cellist Jaemin Han became the competition’s youngest prizewinner ever.
