The Munich Radio Orchestra presents works by Camille Saint-Saëns, Jacques Offenbach and Maurice Ravel. Udo Wachtveitl – known for his role as a detective in the Tatort television series and as a multi-award-winning narrator – guides the audience through the programme, weaving together music and contemporary history to create a vivid portrait of this fascinating era.
