Four times each season, the Munich Philharmonic gives a special concert at the Isarphilharmonie for youngsters aged 12 to 18. These concerts are presented by Malte Arkona, who is best known as the TV presenter of “Die beste Klasse Deutschlands”. He leads the young audience through the evening with charm and humour, making each concert an unforgettable experience. As has become a tradition, the youth concert will be held together with Munich’s ODEON-Jugendsinfonieorchester, with the youth orchestra’s young members playing side by side with members of the Munich Philharmonic.
