While certainly lending a festive glow to the year’s end, the Ninth is far more than a musical masterpiece: As we look forward to the coming year, it expresses hope and is a timely plea for unity across all borders. The French conductor Maxime Pascal will be bringing this special evening to life together with a quartet of top-class soloists, the Philharmonic Choir and the Munich Philharmonic Orchestra.
