“Guten Tag, liebes Glück” is the title of Max Raabe & Palast Orchester’s 2020 concert programme, which coincides with the release of “Max Raabe & Palast Orchester MTV Unplugged” album this November.

For this special live production, the ensemble invited artists who are not normally associated with the frontman: For “Guten Tag, liebes Glück”, for example, he has the charming singer LEA at his side, Herbert Grönemeyer joins for “Mambo“, “Der perfekte Moment” turns effortlessly into a rap number with Samy Deluxe, and the amazing Mr. Lordi’s contribution yields a surprisingly touching version of “Just A Gigolo”. The whole thing is carried with confident precision by the adept Palast Orchester.

In addition to these and other titles from the album, the “Guten Tag, liebes Glück” tour will include further “Raabe pop” titles, cunningly interwoven with old favourites and newly discovered songs from the 1920s and 30s.
