The Munich Symphony Orchestra invites you to the New Year’s Eve gala concert in the Isarphilharmonie: the varied, festive programme includes Offenbach’s “Cancan” from “Orpheus in the Underworld”, Johannes Brahms’ Hungarian Dance No 6, Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov’s “Flight of the Bumblebee”, the Overture to “Die Fledermaus” by Johann Strauss and the Intermezzo from Mascagni’s “Cavalleria rusticana”. In a firework of music, the orchestra under the baton of Jonathan Bloxham welcomes the new year and says goodbye to the old with a bang.
