Klaus Doldinger literally wrote music history: the “Tatort” melody and the music for the Wolfgang Petersen film “Das Boot” are still among the best and most famous soundtracks by a German composer.

After 65 years making music on stage, you might think that Klaus Doldinger would be ready for a rest – but you’d be wrong. His creative juices are flowing as fast as ever and his passion for jazz is still driving him forwards. Sitting around and doing nothing simply isn’t an option for the jazz musician, band leader, film music composer and visionary. Ask jazz connoisseurs about the source of his apparently unquenchable musicality and the answer is unanimous: “musical curiosity”.

Special guests: Max Mutzke, vocals and Joo Kraus, trumpet & vocals
