Jonathan Tetelman is an exclusive Deutsche Grammophon artist. On the afternoon of the third Advent Sunday, he will once again be performing in concert with the Baden-Baden Philharmonic Orchestra. The programme at the Isarphilharmonie includes opera arias by Puccini and Bizet, among others.

His aria recital in early June was sold out months in advance and turned out to be a sensational success, praised by audience and critics alike: Tenor star Jonathan Tetelman “suffers, dreams, triumphs” (Süddeutsche Zeitung) “with a perfectly pitched voice” (Münchner Merkur). He met the highest of expectations, being, after all, blessed with the rare gift of a voice that seems to respond without effort (Abendzeitung). Regarded as one of the most exciting young singers of our day, he appears in renowned concert halls with world-famous orchestras and demonstrates his ability in a “dark-coloured tenor timbre” (Süddeutsche Zeitung).

Born in Chile and raised in New Jersey, the exclusive Deutsche Grammophon artist was promptly awarded the Opus Klassik 2023 in the Young Artist of the Year category for his debut album of Verdi and verismo arias. In short, classical music aficionados are united in their praise of Jonathan Tetelman.
