One of his generation’s most popular and highly regarded stand-up comics, Jim Jefferies’ provocative and satirical humour gives audiences around the world pause to think.
Since his first special, Contraband, in 2008, Jefferies has released a total of ten stand-up specials, including, most recently, the Netflix special Two Limb Policy. Released in 2025, this is already his sixth production for the streaming platform. In it, Jefferies talks, among other things, about tiny moustaches, the challenges faced by straight men, and why he believes acting isn’t a proper job.
Jefferies has also appeared in numerous film and TV productions and developed the comedy series Legit for FX, in which he also served as co-writer, executive producer and lead actor. He hosted and created the hit Comedy Central show The Jim Jefferies Show, which ran for three seasons from 2017 to 2019.
He currently presents the FOX reality show The Snake, in which contestants must use tactics, charm and persuasion to overcome terrifying challenges designed to reveal their true character. Jefferies will also appear in Jordan Peele’s new film, Him, alongside Tyriq Withers, Marlon Wayans and Julia Fox.
His Son of a Carpenter world tour kicked off in 2025.
