With his atmospheric compositions, which blend neo-classical music, cinematic soundscapes and Irish musical traditions, Jamie Duffy is one of the most exciting new voices on the international music circuit. The young musician from Ireland captivates audiences worldwide with emotional sounds full of depth and intensity.
Jamie Duffy – a 24-year-old Irish composer and musician from Glaslough, County Monaghan in Ireland – has created a distinctive sound that feels both intimate and cinematic, with its unique blend of classical music, Irish tradition and contemporary influences. Though often compared to Ludovico Einaudi and Enya, he never loses his own distinctive musical style.
His debut single, Solas, broke records and became the most successful streaming debut by an Irish artist since Hozier’s Take Me To Church. In October 2025, Jamie Duffy released his eponymous album, which was produced in Ireland and Iceland in collaboration with the BAFTA-winning, Emmy-nominated composer Atli Örvarsson. He also composed the music for his first feature film, 500 Miles, starring Bill Nighy and Maisie Williams, which premiered at the Dublin International Film Festival in 2026.
