Munich post-punk band Prohibition Prohibition cranks up the volume. Their complex yet catchy style is reminiscent of bands from the 1980s, while also revealing influences from the new British-Irish underground scene. With literary lyrics, experimental sounds, Camillo Marke und Lorenz Amesbichler create a sombre, philosophical ambience, their trademark drum beats coupled with “guitar noise and plenty of distortion”.
