A tiled passage into the open air, in it spread four young men
Copyright: Kyoto Kyoto

The British collective Kyoto Kyoto is this year’s special guest. Coming all the way from London for their performance at Isarflux, the Brits prove that, far from being dead, krautrock is alive and kicking. With their alternative guitar music, the band has been mixing up London’s underground scene in recent years. Their lyrics, interspersed with German-language texts, hint at the fact that their roots lie partly in Munich. Even their first single, Gaacher Blitz, carries a German name.
