Gregory Porter combines jazz and soul evergreens with Christmas classics in arrangements that give the music even more warmth, personality and depth: just the thing for the festive season.

Christmas is a time for reflection, contemplation and focussing on the things that really matter: comfort and togetherness; a time in which today’s hectic pace of life and sensory overload gives way to humanity and warmth.
Gregory Porter perfectly captured this mood on his 2023 album Christmas Wish, which he is now bringing to the stage. It is these values, these moments of light in the dark, that Gregory Porter’s special tour is all about. His band will be joined on stage by a string quartet consisting of two violins, a viola and a cello as well as a harp and a three-part choir. Conducted by Magnus Lindgren, this chamber music ensemble creates a finely balanced, warm sound that is a perfect accompaniment for Gregory Porter’s voice.
