We are delighted that Go Sing Choir has made Gasteig HP8 its new home. The rules for Munich’s public pop choir are very simple: everyone is welcome to join in; there are no auditions, no membership is involved and you don’t need to be able to read music. All you need to do is listen to the current song (this time "Like a Prayer" by Madonna), come along and joinin, get to know new people, enjoy spending time together and sing as a part of a choir.

Song of the Christmas Special: “Like a Prayer” by Madonna

Whether it’s evening wear, a Christmas jumper or deer antlers, everyone gets to wear their favourite Christmas outfits and sing and celebrate together one last time this year. Here’s Madonna’s latest song to listen to and tune in to. The more people sing along, the better!

A specially arranged pop song is provided at each event. This is rehearsed in several voice parts with Jens Junker (choirmaster) and Ian Chapman (guitar, arrangement) and the end result is recorded as a music video. How does that sound? You can watch music videos of previous Go Sing Choir sessions.
