Let’s talk! The storytelling adventure – this time in English. The new "Tischgespräche" (Table Talks) format at the Gasteig HP8 brings different people and opinions to the table. On the menu: questions that aim to prompt people to strike up conversations.

Two strangers spend about two hours together in conversation over food and drink.  Urban researcher, DJ and journalist Eugene Quinn curates the event, which brings together motivated people who are willing to leave their own comfort zone.

Accompanied by vegan snacks, the Gasteig will serve an extensive, varied menu of questions oriented towards the Flower Power Festival’s motto “Celebrating nature in the city”: In each stimulating conversation, two people who have never met before will talk about topics such as food, their favourite time of year, the Flower Power movement of the 1970s or the power of humans and nature. To add to the topics of conversation, why not come to the talk dressed in your own personal take of a flower power outfit.

To conclude the table talks, you’re free to hang out and relax together with easy-listening music.

Through alternating discussion constellations, this format aims to bring as many different people as possible into conversation. After a first successful round in German, we would like to reach out to the English-speaking community with this second event.
