Over two days, Munich artist Martin Blumöhr will be growing a grotesque, enchanted urban garden in the Gasteig HP8 with his art project Hortusurbis. Working on individual canvases and assembling these to form a grand art installation, he creates an untamed urban floral frenzy. What’s special here is that the artist lets us watch him at work as he spontaneously incorporates ideas and impulses into his floral composition.

The installation will be created at three different locations in Munich: the Fünf Höfe, the Archäologische Staatssammlung and the Gasteig HP8.
