When civil war breaks out in the Congo, chaos and devastation soon dominate the country. When rebel groups recruit child soldiers for their battles, Pappy’s parents see no choice but to send him away. Secretly, early one morning, they dispatch him on a journey into the unknown.

And so, he travels, alone, afraid and aware of the constant danger. After years on the run, he discovers the infinite love of God, which radically changes his life. When he calls the street his home, he finds his home with God, as well as his calling.
