Kokonelle fuses genres and languages. Her style is a mix of hip hop, R’n’B, Afro and soul, preformed in English, Lingala, French and German.

This diversity is reflected in her voice, melodies and flows, but also in her profound lyrics, which capture a wide range of emotions and experiences.

 

Kokonelle creates a special atmosphere on stage. With her powerful voice and poise on stage, she captivates her audience and leaves a lasting impression. Beside her musical talent, she brings with her a unique perspective on life and experiences that enrich and deepen her art.

Ropa, aka Ropa the DJ, is a Zimbabwean-born, up-and-coming rapper, singer, songwriter and DJ based in Munich.  Mixing amapiano, Afrohouse, dancehall and hip hop with a dash of afrobeats, she creates unique mixes with her fine sense for sound that also inspire her writing.
