This celebration for artist and GEDOK-founder Ida Dehmel is a literary and musical salon that brings together female writers, composers and concert musicians past and present.

This celebration for artist and GEDOK-founder Ida Dehmel is a literary and musical salon that brings together female writers, composers and concert musicians past and present.

Contemporary poems by Sabine Jörg are paired with works by female composers from the early 20th century to 2026, including Nadia Boulanger, Alma Mahler (based on texts by Richard Dehmel), Rebecca Clarke, Paule Maurice, Gloria Coates, Dorothee Eberhardt, Dorothea Hofmann, Narine Khachatryan and Eva Kuhn.

Ida Dehmel (1870–1942) made a decisive contribution to the arts and, in 1926, founded GEDOK, which has since become Europe’s largest interdisciplinary network of female artists.
